Oral Hygiene

OUR SERVICESOral Hygiene

Our team at Church St Dental strongly believes that education is a massive part of ensuring children develop good dental habits for life.

At Church St Dental, we believe that dental care starts in the womb.

We help expectant mothers understand the relationship between their oral hygiene and that of their babies. We recommend that children first see a dentist when their first tooth comes in, or by their first birthday. This helps mothers set their children on a path to a lifetime of good dental habits. It is crucial that your child feels calm and confident in the dental chair as some of the earliest experiences will shape how they approach oral hygiene later in life.

At your child’s visit, we will check their teeth for any signs of decay and show them how to brush and floss their teeth. Our dentists will also discuss diet and educate your child on which foods are good and bad for their teeth.
