Dr Laura grew up in Sydney but spent many holidays travelling to the Central Coast to visit her extended family. After graduating from the University of Adelaide she worked in Tasmania for a couple of years before relocating to the Central Coast.

Dr Laura enjoys treating patients of all ages, including children. She practices a wide scope of dentistry including extractions, dentures, root canal treatment and children’s dentistry. She has undertaken extensive study since graduating, most recently she has completed CEREC (one visit crown) training as well as training with a leading dental specialist on the fabrication of dentures.
She is also midway through undertaking a 2 year orthodontic training program with Progressive Orthodontics.

The most rewarding part of working for Dr Laura is to help anxious patients overcome their fear of the dentist, which can be life-changing for people with have spent years avoiding the dentist. She aims to give the best possible dental care for all of her patients whilst making sure that they are at ease during and after their treatment, with the help of her Delta-qualified therapy dog Boston.

Dr Laura’s main passion in life is her dogs and her spare time is spent walking or kayaking with them. She is actively involved in Dog Rescue Newcastle and regularly fosters dogs who would otherwise face an uncertain future at the pound.

Dr Charles grew up in Brisbane graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2012 from the University of Adelaide.

He went on to work in Tasmania in both the private and public sectors gaining a wide breadth of experience in general and complex dentistry. Dr Laura (his better half!) and himself then moved to the Central Coast.

Dr Charles has a passion for continuing professional development as this is the only way to ensure that dentists provide the most comprehensive, up to date and ethical dental care.

He has undertaken extensive orthodontic training starting with Progressive Orthodontics comprehensive training which he graduated from with honors. He then went on to study an Advanced Series learning and applying orthodontic treatment in advanced, complicated orthodontic cases. Dr Charles is now undertaking a Masters in Sciences in Specialized Orthodontics at the International Medical School in Germany.

Dr Charles has completed training in cosmetic dentistry and prosthodontics, undertaking the University of Sydney’s Extended Fixed Prosthodontics Implantology course.

In his spare time, Dr Charles is involved with the Wamberal Surf Life Saving club, he enjoys an active lifestyle, cycling all around the coast, running with his dog Rufus and kayaking.

Dr Philip Arndt was born and raised on the Central Coast and completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at Sydney University. After working for many years in Sydney, he has recently relocated back to the Central Coast. Dr Philip has over 30 years experience and has done extra training in areas such as implant placement and extractions including difficult wisdom tooth extractions. If you need a tooth taken out, Dr Philip is the dentist to see!

Outside of work, you’ll find Dr Philip perusing the aisles at Tuggerah Bunnings, often with his little dog Harry. He also enjoys gardening and kayaking around Brisbane waters.

Dr. Nick, originally hailing from Sydney, attended North Sydney Boys High School before embarking on his journey in dentistry at the University of Adelaide. Currently residing on the Central Coast, he chose this location to embrace the coastal lifestyle.

Dr. Nick places great importance on building connections and getting to know his patients. Recognizing that dental clinics can evoke anxiety in some individuals, he takes pride in his amiable and compassionate nature, ensuring patients feel comfortable and well taken care of. Driven by his dedication to patient satisfaction, he goes the extra mile to engage in conversations, address inquiries, and guarantee a pleasant experience.

Striving for continual growth, Dr. Nick actively invests in courses to expand his knowledge and skills. He finds fulfillment in practicing all aspects of dentistry, with a specific interest in preventive care. Having gained dental experience in both urban and rural areas of South Australia, he has also dedicated his time to volunteering in Vietnam.

During his leisure time, Dr. Nick relishes being outdoors, exploring new culinary experiences, maintaining his fitness at the gym, and assisting his dog in achieving his weight loss goals through regular walks.

Dr Nish grew up in Western Sydney and attended the University of Sydney for Biomedical Engineering before completing her post-graduate studies in Dentistry at the University of Melbourne. Now relocating to the sunny central coast, she is excited to service the local community.

Dr Nish is known for her warm and friendly chair-side manner. She is committed to providing long-term benefits to her patients through an open and collaborative approach. Her mission is to offer personalised dental care that helps patients overcome dental phobias, making each visit an enjoyable experience!

Having an engineering background, means her attention to detail and keen interest in using the latest innovative dental technology ensures she delivers high-quality care to all her patients. Her special interests lie in oral surgery and preventive dentistry.

In her spare time, Nigashiny loves working on her fitness, watching horror/thriller movies and hanging out with friends.
